International ESG Academy at PAEW

Course – from the basics to the best European practices

 

The creation of the ESG Liga was announced by the Professional Association of Environmentalists of the World at the end of last year.

In the summer of 2024, a series of applied ESG modules is held for ESG Liga members and experts.

This initiative is organized in cooperation with the Austrian Energy Agency (Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology).

About the experts

The modules will be delivered by experts from the Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology, as well as specialists from international companies, including industrial and consulting companies, and banks.

The first webinar – July 9, 11:00 (Kyiv time)

Introduction to sustainability reporting with a focus on current EU legislation

  • Start with the basics, explaining what ESG is and why it’s important in today’s business landscape
  • Dive into different ESG frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
  • Who has to report and when?
  • First steps and minimum reporting requirements
  • IRO for beginners
  • ESG-CSR-SDG framework
  • Drivers and stages of sustainability integration in a company (based on the materials of UX Berlin)

  • Showcase companies that have successfully implemented ESG initiatives and share best practices for integrating ESG into business strategy
